WIRED chimes in on what Environmentalism should really be about. Although I don’t agree with everything, like going “all in” with nuclear energy rather than continuing our wind, solar, wave power technologies…it’s well worth reading.
Like most arguments, it’s difficult to make black and white. For instance, their claim that city slickers have less of a carbon footprint due to public transportation, shared living spaces, etc…but how much carbon is used to fly, ship, drive their romantic dinner to their plates? Where are the urban farms? They don’t mention this…
